Our hands-on truck driver / CDL training program is established by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
DRIVE WITH PRIDE
The curriculum for the Truck Driving Training / CDL program is established by the Ohio Department of Public Safety. ​The student begins with learning the essential driving skills, regulations, safety, and basic mechanical systems. They will then move into the truck for realistic exercises on a closed course, and as confidence builds, students will drive on low-traffic roadways and city streets and then advance into more complicated road driving.

Students will learn Basic Control Skills on the closed course. These skills include:

The course objectives is to give the student the knowledge and skills needed to pass the CDL drivers examination and enter the field as an entry-level CDL driver.
​
HAZMAT training is included in the CDL curriculum.
​
Students will take their CDL Drivers Examination test in Parkersburg, WV (those under 21 test in Pike County, Ohio).
