Pipe Welding

This program focuses on welding pipe and developing the skills required to pass pipe welding certifications currently required by the industry, all in a hands-on learning environment.

Internships may be available for students that qualify.

 

Program Prerequisite -Prospective students must successfully pass a 3G Open Root Welding Test before being accepted into the Pipe Welding program.

Course Content Includes

  • A Variety of Welding Processes and Techniques

  • Operating Portable Pipe Cutting and Beveling Equipment

  • Blueprint Readings

  • Multi Process Pipe Welding

  • Basic Pipe Layout

  • Pipefitting Fabrication

Certifications Received

Students are taught the necessary skills for the 6G pipe welding certification test: up to four American Welding Society certification tests meeting API / ASME standards are included with tuition.
