Patient Care Technician Certificate
By successfully completing both the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Program and the State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Course at The Career Center-Adult Technical Training and passing the national certification exams for both CMA & STNA, students will meet WCCC requirements to receive our Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certificate.
The Patient Care Technician certificate is designed from the health care community’s need for trained personnel, specifically in the area of patient care. We offer real-world, hands-on learning from instructors

Our mission is to help you gain the vital skills employers value and increase your opportunities for success.The PCT prepares a graduate to work as a Patient Care Technician in a clinic, hospital, wound care centers or long -term care facility. Graduates will be able to check vital signs, perform CPR and First Aid, and assist in medical examinations, performing electrocardiograms (EKGs), basic laboratory procedures, and phlebotomy.
Classes are available in Marietta, Cambridge, McConnelsville, and Woodsfield.
