Microsoft Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
The Microsoft Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification program prepares users for the two certification exams required for MCDST from Microsoft. The 70-271 exam focuses on supporting, installing, configuring and securing Microsoft Windows XP. The 70-272 exam focuses on supporting, installing, configuring and securing Microsoft Office in a network environment. Once an individual has passed both exams they will attain Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status and received their credential from Microsoft.
