EQUAL OPPORTUNITY The Career Center is an equal opportunity educational institution and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, religion, color, national origin, sex, or disability in its activities, programs, or employment practices as required by Title VI, Title IX, Section 504, Age Discrimination Act, and Title II of the ADA.
NCA ACCREDITATION The Career Center is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Ohio Board of Regents, Division of Vocational Education.
TUITION & APPLICATION FEE Course fees are established to cover the operating expenses of the The Career Center Adult Technical Training programs which are self-supporting. There is no out-of-state tuition.
All programs have an application fee of $75.00. Some programs which require additional applicant evaluations will have an additional application fee. These are noted in the catalog.
ADMISSION, CONFIRMATION & ENROLLMENT Our Admissions Office is here to assist those who are considering enrollment in one of our programs. We will work with you through the admissions process, scheduling appointments of those who need financial aid and providing any assessment testing that may be required for entrance into the adult programs. It is suggested that you begin your application process early, since all programs have limited enrollment. Tuition prices are subject to change pending Board of Education approval.
Registration is confirmed by your payment of application fees on a first-come, first served basis. The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, up to the day before a class is to begin. Students are urged to register early to ensure a place in the class.
Each class has a minimum and maximum number of partipants. Classes will be canceled and registration fees returned in full if the minimum number of tuition-paying students is not reached.
REFUND POLICY Refunds are processed through the school treasury department and are made within eight weeks of the withdrawal form completion. The refunds are made according to Board Policy and are as follows upon written notification of student withdrawal:
