Cosmetology
Cosmetology is a broad term that is used for a wide variety of beauty mediums including hair, nails, skin, and makeup.
The Adult Technical Training provides an Ohio State Cosmetology Board approved curriculum which includes theory, skills, and salon ethics required to become a licensed cosmetologist. Student practice techniques in a supervised salon setting including hair styling, nail care, chemical services, and skin care. Students will gain the skills and knowledge to become a licensed cosmetologist upon completion of Board requirements.
The Cosmetology License is a general beauty license that will allow the licensee to work as a manicurist, stylist, and/or beautician.

Upon graduation students will receive a certificate. Graduation requirements consist of completing 1800 hours of training, obtaining a passing grade of 80% or greater, and all fees being paid in full. Graduates of this course will be able to take the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology examination. |
